Rain Policy:

All group lessons have a rain makeup period of two weeks after the scheduled end date on the registration page. Rain makeups will always take place at the same day and time of the week, unless a specific schedule change is announced. If the group is rained out once, one date is added at the end for rain. If twice, then two. If your group was not rained out or cancelled at all, there will be no rain makeups.

If there are three or more rainouts for a particular group, all players will be refunded at the end of the session for rainouts beyond the first two. Any lesson that was cancelled in advance due to a coach being absent or other unforeseen circumstances is treated as a rainout.

Groups on Thursdays have only one rain date because there are no groups July 4th. This date will be August 15.

Makeup Policy:

There is no guarantee that absences will always get made up. However, the Riverside Tennis Association aims to provide players to opportunity to find alternate groups to join if they are absent. Absences will not be refunded. Here are the parameters for when a player may do a makeup:

-Makeups must be done at the same location (no moving between 96 and 119).

-Makeups must be done with the same type of group (no switching between Beginner, Intermediate, and Cardio).

-A makeup player can never be the seventh player on the court. If a group has 6 players registered and they all do arrive, the makeup player must allow them the court and may try again at another time.

-Makeups must be done in the same session (no making up summer absences in the fall).

-Players can do a makeup with another coach as long all the above are followed.

-There is no “reserving” a makeup slot based on seeing availability online and asking if the spot can be blocked off for the day.
