Our Junior Ace Program is for intermediate and advanced players ages 9 to 18.  We also have a Summer Camp which is open to all skill levels for players 4 to 14. You can renew or join via the JOIN button above.

First Serve Program

RCTA's Junior "First Serve" program is an introductory tennis program for children from 3 to 14 years old at the beginner to intermediate levels. These classes are for future recreational players. Emphasis is on fun and the basics of hitting a tennis ball over the net. There is focus on general movement and balance, in addition to tennis-specific skills. Classes are held after schools and on weekends in spring, summer and fall sessions. Cost depends on length of session: spring (8-weeks) is $360; summer & fall (6-weeks) is $270. Summer classes will be posted in late May/early June.

Junior Ace Program

For players 9 to 16, with a strong interest in tennis and intermediate-to-advanced skill levels, we recommend our Junior Ace Program, which is a two-hour program, with 4 participants to a court. The next Junior Ace Program classes are in the fall.

Summer Camp

In addition to offering a variety of weekly lessons for children 3 to 14 years old throughout the summer (visit Children's Group Lessons for the schedule), the RCTA partners with Riverside Park Conservancy to provide children ages 4 to 8 with a tennis camp experience at the 102nd Street Playground on newly installed mini-courts appropriate for children this age under the new USTA guidelines; and children 8 to 16 at the RCTA red-clay courts. 2022 Summer Camp Registration will open in early January. Visit the Riverside Park Conservancy multi-sport summer camp for details and registration.
